Fish Chowder

Ingredients

fish cut into 1 cm cubes

crab sticks, sliced

mussels,chopped

1 lemon

parsley, chopped

ground

oreganum
Preparation
- Put fish in large saucepan and cover with 450 ml hot water. add 1 tsp of salt. Simmer 10 mins. Drain and keep liquid.
- Melt
butter in another saucepan, add onion and potatoes. Stir on and off as
they cook over low heat for 5 to 10 mins- do not allow to brown.
- Remove
from heat and add flour. Stir well. Add milk gradually, stirring well.
Heat to simmering. Add liquid from fish and continue cooking 10mins.
- Add fish and shellfish. Heat to simmer.
- Add lemon juice , parsley, fresh ground pepper, oreganum and more salt if necessary. Bring to boil briefly.
