Smoked Fish Bake

Ingredients

  • 400 gms smoked fish, skinned and boned
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 large onions, finely chopped
  • 2 green pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 gerkins, sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup crushed potato crisps or
  • 1/2 cup bran flakes

Preparation

  1. Cut fish into cubes.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, add fish and onion and cook until onion is tender. Remove from heat.
  3. Combine chopped pepper, tomato, gherkin, mayonnaise and fish mixture.
  4. Place in a lightly greased ovenproof dish and bake at 180°C for 15 mins. Sprinkle with grated cheese and crushed potato crisps or bran flakes. Return to oven and cook for a further 5 mins until cheese has melted.
