About Sea2door

Sea2door was started around 26 years ago, when the original owners noticed a gap in the seafood market. Many of their friends didn't like to buy fish from a supermarket, yet their eyes would light up when offered fresh fish, so a home delivery service was created.

Sea2door has just been purchased by Yotti Ioannou, who is also the proud new owner of Theo’s Fisheries Ltd, serving fresh fish to customers from 82 Riccarton Road since 1950. Under this household name, Sea2door continues to deliver high quality fresh fish to our customer's homes and to keep the whole process as simple as possible.

Sea2door provides a regular set delivery, with set weights, and prices, of a variety of fish. Deliveries are left in a predetermined spot at the customer's home in a chilly bin, with ice, so that no one needs to be at home to receive. Customers need only contact us if they want to skip a delivery or change their order.

The customer list has now grown to around 2000, with many loyal customers still receiving deliveries since 1999!

The business has also evolved to now offer a wide range of seafoods and other great products, eg free range eggs, which can be ordered as a regular delivery, or simply as "one offs" along with the fish.

Regular specials are also run, offering seasonal and other interesting products.

Our software system enables us to match each day's available fish to each customer's preferences, and to keep very accurate records of every detail from one off orders, payments, and cancellations.
