Mussels in Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 kg mussels
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, cut in to small pieces
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme, chopped

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in pan with cover. Saute onion, garlic and celery
  2. Add mussels and pour in wine.Cover pan and cook over medium heat for about 2 mins.
  3. Sprinkle parsley and thyme over mussels and agitate pan to insure properly mixed.
